Practice what you remember

Turn revision into questions you can answer.

Keep exam dates in view and make revision active. Use cards to attempt an answer, reveal it and decide what deserves another review.

Write cards that test one useful idea

A useful revision card asks a clear question with an answer you can check. Instead of copying a full page of notes, ask for a definition, the reason a method works, a formula with its conditions or the first step in a common problem.

Attempt the answer before revealing it. If the card is too broad to judge, split it into smaller questions. For calculations, include a short worked example in your notes and use the card to test the rule or decision you need to remember.

Use spaced review with honest feedback

The revision area schedules cards for later review. Your response helps determine when a card should return. Mark a card according to the answer you produced, rather than how familiar the visible answer feels.

Cards are one part of preparation. Essays, coding tasks and multi-step problems also need full practice in the format your course expects. Use the exam tools to keep dates and targets visible, and reserve actual problem-solving time in the planner.

A revision session you can repeat

  1. Review cards that are due and attempt each answer from memory.
  2. Check errors against your course material.
  3. Write a short correction or improve an unclear question.
  4. Finish with an exam-style exercise that uses the topic in context.

Plan for coverage and application

Compare upcoming exams with your syllabus progress. Give unfamiliar high-priority topics time for learning before expecting fast recall. Revisit mistakes after a break and use your notes to explain why the correct answer works. Lernivra organizes the practice; it does not predict exam questions or guarantee a grade.
